The purifier developed a water pressure issue within the first year. During the warranty period, the technician told us the tank might be faulty, but it was not replaced and only a temporary fix was done.
When the same issue returned after the warranty expired, the technician immediately recommended replacing the original 3-liter tank with a 9-liter tank, costing around ₹6,000. I had already spent about ₹2,000 on a previous service visit.
What disappoints me is that if the tank was suspected from the beginning, why wasn't it replaced while the product was under warranty? It gives the impression that the issue was known but not properly resolved at the time.
I am also not convinced that replacing a 3-liter tank with a 9-liter tank is the correct solution for a water pressure problem. The explanation provided did not make technical sense to me.
My parents are elderly and tend to trust whatever the technician recommends, which makes transparency and honest guidance even more important. Overall, I am disappointed with the service experience and the recurring issue.
